Fatshark’s fantasy action RPG Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is now available for Xbox One. Having already passed one million units sold on PC, the Xbox One version is also available on Microsoft’s subscription-based Xbox Game Pass service. Check out the release trailer below.
Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund said, “We are excited to bring Vermintide 2 to the Xbox community. We are looking forward to taking on Skaven and Chaos with the console gamers.”
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 provides five playable characters, each with their own unique skills and abilities. Sienna, for instance, is a mage that uses Pyromancy to torch foes to a crisp. Kerillian is an Elven Ranger with a bow and arrow that picks off enemies from a distance. Each character possesses three different careers to specialize in for added customization and build possibilities. Designed for co-op, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is also playable solo with AI companions helping out.
Two versions of the game are available through Xbox.com – the Standard Edition ($29.99) and the Premium Edition ($44.99). The latter includes the following items:
- Sigmar Keep Statue
- Helmgart Heraldry Themed Skins
- Premium Edition Portrait Frame
- 3x Exclusive Heroic Deeds
If slaying the armies of Skaven and Chaos is your blood-stained cup of tea, then Warhammer: Vermintide 2 may be worth a look. You can check out GamingBolt’s official review for more information, but the game has had a number of updates for PC since launch.
