Warhammer Vermintide 2

Warriors who’re tired of murdering Skaven and Chaos soldiers en masse have a reason to return to Fatshark’s Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The developer has confirmed that the first DLC pack, Shadows Over Bogenhafen, will release on August 28th. More details about the DLC will be coming at Gamescom 2018, so keep an eye out.

As of now, there isn’t much information but Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund did talk a bit about the DLC’s premise. “The players will be invited to Bogenhafen, a city where the Heroes will be tested like never before by Grandfather Nurgle’s unpleasant attentions,” he said.

In the meantime, you can check out the short teaser below. At this point, it’s safe to assume that new missions and new loot will be added to the game. How much content we can actually expect, the DLC’s price, and whether the PS4 version of the base game is ever coming at some point this year all remain to be revealed.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available for Xbox One and PC though. Those who own Xbox Game Pass can actually play the entire game right now. If you want to know more about the base game (which has seen a number of updates since launch), check out GamingBolt’s official review here.
