Warren Spector: Epic Mickey on the PS3 and the 360 ‘could happen’

Posted By | On 06th, Aug. 2010

When asked if Epic Mickey, upcoming Disney Interactive video game exclusively for the Wii, would ever come over to the 360 and the PS3, Warren Spector, Lead Designer, in an interview with Atomicgamer said, “Sure, it could happen.”

“Before Move and Kinect I probably would have said no, because the game is built around gesturing. Now, however, there’s no reason technologically why we couldn’t,’ he goes on to say.

Later, though, he confirms that Disney will remain a Wii exclusive developer. “But I’ve been a Nintendo fan…well, not as long as I’ve been a Disney fan, but a long time, and I’ve been pretty open about the fact that the Zelda games are some of my favorite of all time. So we’re a Wii exclusive and I’m happy about that.”

Epic Mickey is about to be released for the Wii later this year. Keep checking back for more info.
