Though it’s E3 2019 trailer didn’t exactly rub fans the right way with its humour, the latest trailer for inXile’s Wasteland 3 is a more somber affair. It sees the Desert Rangers working with the Patriarch of Colorado for some purpose. Check it out below.

Story aside, the trailer highlights the game’s presentation and combat. The latter looks especially snappy with the ability to target different body parts, set units to overwatch for automatically shooting foes from cover and much more. All in all, inXile’s tactical squad-based chops are still very meaty and engaging.

Wasteland 3 is out in early 2020. Despite inXile being acquired by Microsoft, the game is still coming to PS4 and PC along with Xbox One. It will be available for Xbox Game Pass at launch as well, which we can hope extends to Xbox Game Pass on PC as well. Stay tuned for more details and announcements from the Inside Xbox show.
