Now that the controversy over Watch Dogs’ visuals being “downgraded” have silenced – especially due to comparisons made of the PS4 version from September 2013 and now showcasing that there’s been no downgrade – Ubisoft Montreal is currently busy on getting the game out in time for its May 27th release. It recently revealed the exclusive content that PlayStation users can avail of that will add 60 more minutes of play-time.
As for the resolution difference, the studio is remaining fairly mum in the subject. On being asked whether the Xbox One version of Watch Dogs would be similar to the PS4 build, creative director Jonathan Morin tweeted, “We are not fully done with res so not sure where you got your info.”
Morin further added that, “But to answer the none res part of your question. Same density, same content, identical game (aside of 60 min exclusive content).”
Watch Dogs will be out on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in May, with the Wii U version releasing later.
