There is no doubt that Watch Dogs looks phenomenal irrespective of any platform you chose to play it on.  Even though the game is due on May 27th, a lucky user from Reddit has got his hands on the PlayStation 4 version of the game.  As you can see from the screens below the explosions, lighting, shadow effects and textures are top notch. To top that, the PS4 version has better anti-aliasing, something we reported yesterday.

What are your thoughts on the PS4 version of the game? Does it set new standards for open world graphics on the PlayStation 4? Let us know in the comments section below. In another related report, the PC version seems to be a bad port at the moment, apparently suffering from frame rate and performance issues.

Watch Dogs will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One , Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 on May 27th. Check back for our full review of the game soon.
