Has the time finally come to unveil the Dark Knight's next adventure?

It has now been five years since the Arkham video game series released its last game, Batman: Arkham Knight (not counting remasters of the first two games). Since then the franchise and studios behind it, Rocksteady and WB Montreal, have been almost entirely silent (especially Rocksteady). There have been hints, teases, and also leaks about various canceled projects, but it looks like it may actually be time, if a new domain name registration means anything, for the Dark Knight to rise again.

Yesterday, two different listings popped up for something Suicide Squad related, which is rumored to be Rocksteady’s potential next game. But another domain also popped up for something called Gotham Knights, which you can see through here. The rumor has been that WB Montreal has been working on the next title to feature Batman, and Gotham Knights could fit the bill. It also seems unlikely that this could be related to whatever the Suicide Squad thing is, since that doesn’t appear in the URL.

WB Games will be part of August’s FanDome, which will see various DC media previewed, including new games. If there’s anything to these teases and domain registrations, it will most likely come there.
