Developer WolfEye Studios and publisher Devolver Digital have announced that Weird West: Definitive Edition is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 8. The game has already been available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 since its original launch back in March 2022. It is worth noting that Weird West: Definitive Edition is also one of the games coming to Game Pass this month.

Weird West: Definitive Edition includes upgraded features to make use of current console hardware, including the ability to run at 4K while maintaining a stable framerate of 60 FPS.

Since its original release, Weird West has seen quite a bit of success, boasting over 400,000 players in its first month. The game has seen quite a few updates released over time, including patch 1.05 back in November 2022 which brought mod support to the PC version of Weird West.

Weird West is an immersive sim action RPG made by the people that have previously worked on Dishonored and Prey during their time at Arkane. For more details about Weird West, check out our review of its original release.
