Coming from the minds that worked on games such as Dishonored and Prey, WolfEye Studios’ upcoming action RPG immersive sim Weird West has garnered quite a bit of attention in the time since it was first unveiled, and with each showing, the game has continued to look promising. The wait for it has also been a little longer than expected, with the game already have been delayed once to January 11. Now, however, it seems like the wait is going to be a little longer.

Publisher Devolver Digital recently announced in a tweet that Weird West has been delayed by a little over a couple of months to the end of March. In an accompanying clip, creative director Raphael Colantonio said that based on the feedback received from ongoing private beta tests, WolfEye Studios is confident that the game is coming along well, but also that it still needs a little bit more polish. To ensure that players get the best possible experience, the developer has decided to delay the immersive sim.

Weird West is now set to launch on March 31, 2022 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As announced previously, it will also be available for Xbox and PC Game Pass right at launch.
