Dragon Age 2 Act 1 is similar to the quest “Ransom Imoen” of Baldur’s Gate II
Dragon Age 2 and Baldurs Gate 2 are two very different games, it’s like comparing apples and oranges, except in this case Baldurs Gate 2 was much better. However the developers decided to copy a few things from the game, in the hopes it would make the game better. For instance, In Dragon Age II, the quest The Deep Roads Expedition in Act 1 is similar to the quest Ransom Imoen” of Baldur’s Gate II : Shadows of Amn; If you compare the two levels, the purpose and the situation are exactly the same, where the player needs to find money through other quests in a city to start an expedition in a remote place.
