Bartrand’s Precious
Those that played Dragon Age 2 would know Bartrand and also know what a lying traitor he was to Hawke and his companions. However what many of you may not have picked up on is his dialogue when he becomes obsessed with the statue. Bartrand’s voice will, on the quest to get revenge for what he did in the deep roads, eventually get rather hoarse, and will say that the woman he sold the Lyrium idol to “stole it from precious”. This is a huge nod towards Gollum from the Tolkien universe, in which he claimed the hobbits stole his ring.
