There are over 3,200 creature/NPC appearances in the Dragon Age universe so far.
Let’s take the fact that Dragon Age inquisition has tons of new characters for the gamer to look forward to, but that’s mainly because they have this enormous lore to build from. Through Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 the player will encounter the genlock and hurlock, and creature such as alphas or emissaries. Of course that’s just the physical world, when you step into the spiritual realm there is a lot more creatures for you to fight with.
