Where the Water Tastes Like Wine

Dim Bulb Games and Serenity Forge have offered an update on Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, its narrative game that traipses through America during the Depression. a new trailer showcases the voice-acting talent in-game and that includes Sting, former bassist and singer of The Police who is also an accomplished solo artist.

He’ll be voicing one of the game’s sixteen stories as “The Wolf”. It’s as cool as you’d think it sounds. Sting noted that he was happy to be involved and that the game was a “unique storytelling experience.” The trailer also highlighted other famous voice actors like Dave Fennoy (Telltale’s The Walking Dead), Cissy Jones (Firewatch) and Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect).

The game itself sees players traveling through America, breathing in the folklore and hearing stories from all kinds of folk. Visually, the game combines a 3D overworld map with gorgeous 2D illustrations. Where the Water Tastes Like Wine will be releasing in early 2018 for PC.
