Koei Tecmo’s WILD HEARTS is getting a new gameplay trailer tomorrow at 7 AM PT. It will provide an in-depth look at the Karakuri players can wield while fighting the Kemono.

Thus far, we’ve seen numerous different uses for Karakuri. They’re used to set up shortcuts, deploy bombs, unleash big hammers, and even dodge attacks. You can also create a barrier for enemies to ram into and a crossbow to tie down a Kemono. Utility Karakuri also exists and is used to set up camps, blacksmith tables, and whatnot in the wild.

Of course, they’re not free. You need to gather resources to use Karakuri, and the bigger constructions require more. Karakuri can also be used to enhance your attacks, so carefully managing your supply is vital. Hopefully, we’ll see some crazier ways the technology is employed.

WILD HEARTS is out on February 17th, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. For more gameplay, head here.
