The latest trailer for Koei Tecmo’s WILD HEARTS is now available, providing a closer look at the Karakuri. This ancient technology can be fashioned into many different tools, from springboards to achieve great heights to air vents for gliding. Check it out below.
The Karakuri were seemingly inactive before the player showed up, and they can harness them in imaginative ways. Along with a wall that stuns any Kemono that attacks it, you can create giant hammers, bombs, and traps which deploy harpoons to lock enemies in place. Perhaps the coolest use of the Karakuri is in vehicles that can cover great distances.
They’re also used for resource gathering, training, and much more. As strong as the Karakuri may be, players are encouraged to work together against some of the tougher threats.
WILD HEARTS is out on February 17th, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. A new trailer will be showcased at The Game Awards on December 8th, so stay tuned for more details.
