Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Launches on June 29 for Nintendo Switch

Gunning Nazis on the go.

Bethesda announced today that the long awaited Nintendo Switch port of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will be launching on the console at last this Summer. The publisher announced that the Switch port will be launching on June 29.

The Switch version of Wolfenstein 2 looks surprisingly sharp—as a port, it seems visually better than DOOM, which also launched for the Switch last year, though questions about its performance (that is, frame rate) do remain still. Nonetheless, if you want a meaty single player shooter campaign, or want to support Bethesda’s efforts on the Switch, it’s a prime candidate for Switch owners to buy.

Of course, Wolfenstein 2 is also available right now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, for which it launched last year on October 27–in case you don’t want to wait till Summer to go hands on with the game. A trailer for the Switch port, also showing off some gameplay footage, can be seen below.
