Bethesda and MachineGames’ Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is one of the most eagerly anticipated upcoming games at the moment; presuming you are going to play it on PC, you probably want to know whether or not your machine will be able to run it. The Wolfenstein franchise, much like most other id Software properties, has a history for being graphically and technically intensive. The New Colossus looks no different in that regard.

You can check out the full recommended and minimum requirements for the PC version of the game below. You can also check out the range of settings that the game will apparently let you configure and tweak. It sounds like this will be an excellent PC port- which is just as well, since the franchise was originally a PC franchise to begin with.

Finally, Wolfenstein 2 executive producer Jerk Gustafsson has confirmed that the PC version of the game will also support the Vulkan API. “We’re also taking full advantage of Vulkan, allowing us to push improved performance across the board in ways that simply weren’t possible before,” he said. “The minimum hardware requirements are set to ensure a high-quality experience, and with Vulkan players should see solid performance on a variety of system configurations. However, if you’re aiming for 1080p with high framerate and settings, you would need to bump towards our recommended specs.”

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27. A Nintendo Switch version will follow in 2018.
