Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus’s Mysterious Vault Unlocks in Two Weeks

While it coincides with the first DLC's release, Bethesda is promising some "extra surprises."

Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus

You’ve probably been busy gunning down Nazis in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (that is the point of the game after all). However, if you hovered on the main menu for long enough, a strange “Vault” option would have been visible. It can’t be selected but it has a timer counting down to…something.

Bethesda has clarified exactly what the timer is for. While it may coincide with the release of the game’s first DLC, there are some interesting “surprises” when it eventually opens on November 7th. Speaking to Game Informer, a representative noted that, “There are a few extra surprises behind the vault door when the timer reaches 0.”

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You can check out our official review for the game here. The first DLC for the game will be Episode Zero, which is actually free to those who pre-ordered the game. Those who own the Season Pass will be able to play it as well along with three more upcoming episodic DLC packs.
