MachineGames, the developers of the upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Order, have revealed the “necessary” system requirements for the first person shooter, and boy, you will require an absolute beast of a PC processor to play the game, basically.
The publisher says you need quite a few high end things to play the game on your PC. Here’s what you need: an Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD processor. The rest of the system requirements are far more standard. You will need a 4GB RAM, a 50GB hard drive space, a GeForce 460/Radeon 6850 and a 64-bit installation of Windows 7 or 8.
We’re not yet sure whether the i7 processor is a minimum system requirement or a recommended one, and Bethesda hasn’t commented on that yet either. But we’re hoping they will, soon.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is launching on May 20, just eighteen days from now, for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more updates.
