World of Final Fantasy Gets A New Trailer, Game Is Over 100 Hours Long

Every bit as meaty as a mainline game.

World of Final Fantasy 6

While most eyes are trained firmly on Final Fantasy 15, which will finally be launching after a ten year development cycle on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 30 worldwide, we are also getting World of Final Fantasy, a charming looking game that seems to be a throwback to the classic SNES/PlayStation era games in the franchise, on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this year- and if you thought that the game was going to be a side story sort of thing, with a far less expansive scope than the ‘main event’ that is Final Fantasy 15, well it turns out you were wrong.

World of Final Fantasy will be a massive game, over 100 hours long, and in spite of the game’s reduced difficulty level to make it more accessible to first time players, it will have a plethora of systems and nuances that should make it every bit as compelling as fans expect Final Fantasy to be.

There’s also a brand new trailer for the game- you can check it out in all of its chibi glory below. World of Final Fantasy will launch on October 25 on PS4 and PS Vita.
