Visual Concepts and 2K Sports promised more details on WWE 2K22 in January 2022, but because it couldn’t wait, a new trailer has been released, hyping up some of its main features. The improved presentation and visuals are also on display and it’s definite step-up from the abysmal WWE 2K20. Check it out below.

Along with redesigned gameplay, the sequel will feature new controls with Light and Heavy Attacks, Reversals and much more making a return. The new 2K Showcase also focuses on Rey Mysterio, the lucha libre legend, while MyGM mode returns. There’s also a new mode, MyFaction, which sees players creating their own dominant faction while MyRise focuses on a new Rookie-to-Superstar story for MyPlayer characters.

But perhaps the biggest news is the return of Universe Mode which allows players to customize the different brands, match cards, matches and much more. The Creation Suite is also here with plenty of options to create the Superstar of one’s choosing. WWE 2K22’s platforms haven’t been confirmed but Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 seem a given. It launches in March 2022 so stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
