X Rebirth Trailer Details Scanners Used for Exploration

The X universe is vast and there's enough exploration to go with the action.

The X series has always been about exploration, and X Rebirth aims to add a fair amount of action to the experience. For those looking for a less blood-thirsty approach, a new trailer for the game showcases the different scanners you can utilize, including the long range scanner. This enables you to pick up distant objects very easily but you’ll need to time its mechanics just right to get the full benefits of it.

X Rebirth will see you moving through areas such as an asteroid field, seen in the trailer above, in order to search for objects. There are other scanners which allow you to discern which objects are more valuable and the pick-ups you’ll be able to obtain. High level scanners and some luck are necessary for picking up the most valuable objects.

X Rebirth is currently set to release on November 15th for PC and Linux via Steam.
