Xbox 720 will have a dual-GPU setup, 4-6 core CPU and Blu Ray – Report

Rumours are flying thick and fast nowadays, and the latest one is a shocker. The Xbox 720 or Microsoft’s next Xbox will feature a Blu Ray and a dual-GPU, according to sources of VG247.

They say that the system has been fully detailed to the third-parties, namely Lionhead and Bethesda and Microsoft is going all out with the specs.

There will be 4-6 CPU cores with one reserved for the Kinect and one for the OS, just like the Vita which reserves 1 core and 256MB RAM for the OS.

Another huge thing is that the system will require always-on Internet connection as a anti-piracy measure. This makes me doubt the leak, but who knows what Microsoft and Sony are planning.

Earlier we reported the PS4 leak, and that was quite juicy. You can check that out over here. Take these rumours with a pinch of salt, but these leaks are looking to be quite real.
