Another survival-horror video game title makes our list and it’s a classic: F.E.A.R. This is a first-person shooter based video game that includes supernatural elements. Similar to the Silent Hill series, F.E.A.R. is based on head trips by making the players fill in the missing gaps themselves. Players will hear odd sounds to wandering mindlessly in complete silence. Also, it’s worth pointing out that the game will visually make drastic changes.
We don’t want to spoil much if you haven’t played F.E.A.R. yet, but the game is centered on a new rookie to F.E.A.R., a special secret force group that the U.S. government developed. This organization is constructed to take out odd paranormal threats with specialized select members inducted for their quick reaction times. The main mission has players put up against Alma, a little girl capable of subjecting visions and slaughtering whoever she pleases. The game was praised for its awesome gun effects, smart AI and genuinely scary moments. Although the series went downhill from F.E.A.R. 2, players would definitely appreciate playing the original game all over again in updated visuals.
