Microsoft debuted its Xbox Developer Direct event in January last year, and the company looks set to return with a second edition in 2024. A recent rumour claimed that another Xbox Developer Direct presentation was set for sometime this month, and further details on its timing may now have surfaced.

As per Insider Gaming, an Xbox Developer Direct event is scheduled for sometime within the next couple of weeks. The outlet claimed the same in a report covering a recent leak pegging the event for a January 14 date, but stated that it couldn’t corroborate the exact date.

As per the previous aforementioned leak, the event will see Microsoft offering updates on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Towerborne, along with potentially announcing and shadow dropping Double Fine Productions’ next game.

If an event is indeed planned for the next couple of weeks, it won’t be long before Microsoft makes an official announcement, so stay tuned for updates.
