Microsoft’s latest and greatest, the Xbox Series X/S allows gamers to seamlessly switch between titles – a feature dubbed as Quick Resume. As fans might already know, it isn’t available for all new releases and director of project management on Xbox Series X/S shares some insights on the matter via Twitter.

Jason told that implementing Quick Resume isn’t as easy as flipping a button, and requires a number of extra validation steps to ensure compatibility for the same. He also revealed that the team is currently working on improving quick resume, and in the near future gamers will be able to enjoy the feature for new releases at launch.

Microsoft has hit its stride with Xbox Game Pass, and gamers on a budget seem to be flocking towards team Xbox for this very reason. Phil Spencer recently revealed in an interview about his plans for expanding the horizons of this service, and that the team is interested in putting it in as many platforms as possible.
