Xbox Series X-S - Quick Resume group

A new update is being made available to Xbox Insider members today which provides improvements to Quick Resume on the Xbox Series X/S. As Xbox engineering lead Eden Marie explained on Twitter, you’ll be able to see which games support the function from a glance. Simply head to the Groups list under “My Games and Apps” and look for the Quick Resume group.

You can also hit the Home button and see if the game you’re currently playing support Quick Resume via a tag in the upper right corner. It will also be possible to delete Quick Resume saves. All of these functions should be available in the coming days so stay tuned.

In the meantime, Microsoft has rolled out its April update for the Xbox Series X/S which adds numerous new features. You can now see if your friends are playing titles on Xbox Game Pass and either join them or install the same title. Recommendations based on what’s play history have also been added along with collections for genres like horror, anime, first-person shooters and whatnot. If a game happens to be hindering one’s download speeds, you’ll now receive a warning for the same and can suspend it for more bandwidth.
