Xbox Game Pass subscribers are about to get a whole lot more value in the coming months. Microsoft has announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will receive an EA Play membership for no additional cost. The initiative goes into effect this holiday season.
It’s worth noting that EA Play in both instances will be playable on Xbox one, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Windows 10 PC. Along with access to full-fledged games like Titanfall 2, Need for Speed, Mass Effect and so on, subscribers will also avail of in-game challenges and discounts on EA digital content. There’s also access for time-limited trials to upcoming games like FIFA 21.
Finally, some EA Play titles will even be playable on Android devices via xCloud for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Though the exact titles haven’t been revealed, it’s a pretty interesting proposition especially for those who want to take games like FIFA 21 on the go. The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are both out on November 10th – stay tuned for more details on EA Play joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC in the coming weeks.
