Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Saw Over 92 Million Views

The most recent Xbox Games Showcase in June has been the most successful one yet for Microsoft, seeing an increase in viewership of 38% from last year.

Microsoft has announced that the recent Xbox Games Showcase, which was livestreamed back in June, has become the most-watched Xbox show ever. According to the announcement, the show garnered over 92 million since it went live in June, making for a rise in viewership of 38% when compared to the Xbox Games Showcase from 2022.

The Xbox Games Showcase this year featured quite a few games, including Forza Motorsport, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, Fable, South of Midnight, Avowed, and Clockwork Revolution, among many other titles. The showcase was immediately followed-up by an in-depth deep dive into the highly-anticipated upcoming RPG Starfield.

August will see Xbox head to Germany for Gamescom, where it says it will be setting up the biggest booth Xbox has featured at the event.

Earlier today, Microsoft unveiled its replacement for the long-running Xbox Live Gold subscription service—Xbox Game Pass Core. The new service will cost either $9.99 monthly, or $59.99 yearly, and will offer players access to multiplayer, as well as more than 25 games.
