Xbox Gamescom Showcase Will be 90 Minutes Long

The show will provide "updates on some of the biggest games coming to Xbox" along with news on future Xbox Game Pass titles.

While Gamescom 2021 officially kicks off on August 25th, Microsoft will be starting the party early with its own Xbox Showcase. It will air today at 10 AM PT/6 PM BST and there’s quite lot in store – according to a new Xbox Wire post, the show runs for 90 minutes. Along with “updates on some of the biggest games coming to Xbox”, there will be details on upcoming Xbox Game Pass releases.

Microsoft is also promising “the latest” on previously announced titles from both Xbox Game Studios and “our partners from around the world.” Does this mean we’ll learn more about titles like Perfect Dark, Fable or even State of Decay 3? Perhaps some new details on Avalanche Studios’ Contraband? Of course, with Psychonauts 2 releasing tomorrow, a new trailer for the same should be expected.

This week promises to be fairly busy with Gamescom Opening Night Live taking place tomorrow at 11 AM PT and featuring over 30 titles (including games like Sifu, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and whatever is going on with Saints Row). Stay tuned for all of the announcements and world premieres as they happen.
