Xbox Head Phil Spencer Says He Is “Really Happy” With How Development On Scorpio Is Coming

Which makes sense.

Nintendo are not the only ones who will be launching a new system this year- in the Holiday season, Microsoft will release Scorpio, the fourth Xbox console, albeit one that will maintain full intercompatibility with the existing Xbox One systems, to the market. And it’s a system that they have been hyping with frequent regularity, to keep all eyes on it, and to keep it in the news.

Which is fine! Personally, we get pretty excited each time we hear about the Scorpio, so we don’t mind the constant attention being called to it. Just recently, for example, Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed that development on the Scorpio is progressing, and that he is ‘really happy with how it’s coming along. Which are both the most obvious things he could have said, but hey.

The Xbox One Scorpio is due to release later this year. Microsoft are presumably going to show it off at E3 this year.
