It’s already close to October as 2021 slowly starts to tick down. A new month, of course, also means new games are coming to the various refreshes for the many subscription services that are now running. Xbox Live’s Games with Gold will be one of the first of the month, and for October, there’s a nice mix of old and new that you’ll be able to redeem.

For the entire month of October, we’ll have Aaero for the Xbox One. It is a rail shooter that uses rhythm as the basis of its action and combat. From the 1st to the 15th, we’ll have Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for the 360. This entry in the series was one that allowed you to play with various protagonists from the franchise and had mutliplayer options. From the 15th to the 31st will see another 360 game from a classic Japanese franchise, Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD. Finally, from the 15th and into November we’ll get Hover, a parkour open world title.

These titles will go live on the service starting October 1st for all compatible Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S systems, with Castlevania and Resident Evil also being playable via Xbox 360.
