Xbox Live services have finally been restored following a several hour long outage that occurred yesterday.

This was confirmed by Xbox Support on Twitter when it stated that, “The issues should now be resolved! Please be sure to power cycle your Xbox console before trying to connect again.”

Yesterday, it was revealed that Xbox Live was facing issues with its social and gaming features which affected messages, parties and even in-game matchmaking. The Xbox Live Status page indicated these features as being “limited” at the time. The issues were so severe they prompted artist Snopp Dogg to take to Instagram and politely ask Microsoft to fix its servers.

Regardless, it’s back online now so you can return to your usual round of Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer and Destiny raiding (seriously though, just play Halo). What are your thoughts on the outage and its cause? Let us know in the comments below.
