In a recent interview with Adam Pollington, the product manager of Xbox Australia, some new information regarding the DVR capabilities of the Xbox One were revealed. It seems that, in addition to the five minutes of gameplay footage that gamers can choose to record whenever they like, every time an Xbox Achievement is unlocked the DVR will pick it up, so you can rematch your best gaming moments to your heart’s content.

Not only will the DVR pick up the footage of your most glorious gaming achievements, but the DVR has the ability to use the Xbox One’s Kinect camera to two way record, and pick up your reaction to the event. That way you can not only relive the footage of your game, but you can also relive your reaction to actually making that footage happen. All in all it’s a pretty sweet idea.

Then of course, with the social media components of next gen gaming, these videos will be sharable via social media outlets with your friends and family.

The Xbox One releases on November 22nd of this year.
