Capybara Games’ long in development rogue-like title Below – which is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and shown off at the publisher’s press conferences since its original E3 2013 debut – has been delayed to 2016.

Speaking to Game Informer (as per GameSpot), Capybara co-founder Nathan Vella said that, “Below is indeed coming in 2016. Past that I can’t share much, yet. We’ll certainly have a lot more content to show and news to share in the new year.”

Below was originally slated to release in 2015 before being delayed to 2015 and now to 2016. Capybara Games has had one other title released since its original announcement of Below, namely Super Time Force. We’re not sure what the hold up is for the release but there’s still plenty of anticipation regarding the game. What are your thoughts on the delay? Let us know in the comments.
