Xbox One Elite

The March update for Xbox One is available to Preview Program members and it includes a hefty amount of changes and new features.

As per Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the update will finally allow you to buy backwards compatible Xbox 360 games from the Marketplace. Streamers will also be able to include Party Chat in their Twitch broadcasts, though party members can opt to still take part in the chat without participating in the broadcast. Windows 10 party members will also be able to join Twitch broadcasts.

Because of this feature, it’s also going to be possible to mute a party member’s chat audio even if they joined you. Other features include the ability to output Party Chat to speakers and headphones simultaneously and customizing the length of Xbox DVR recordings.

Head over the Major Nelson’s blog to check out the rest of the update’s details and let us know in the comments what you think.
