The upcoming May update for the Xbox One has gone into beta testing. Preview members will already have their hands on it but for the rest of us, some of the new upcoming new features will include the ability to multi-task and to leave voice messages while in a party. One had to leave a party in order to leave voice messages before.

There are still some known issues, including voice commands not functioning when you launch the Party app and proceed to the first menu screen. Thankfully, one of the major issues wherein US and Canada digital TV tuners wouldn’t scan properly for channels has been fixed.

Voice messages and dedicated servers for party chat are expected to all arrive with this update which could make it the most significant in a while. Regardless, stay tuned for more information when it’s officially confirmed before getting your hopes up. Which new feature excites you most? Let us know in the comments.
