For all the updates that Microsoft has delivered with the Xbox One, including a revamped Friends mode, improved Snap functionality and Achievement Tracking, it still hasn’t had the same kind of success with sharing images and media like the PS4’s Share button. One feature, screenshot capture, which was to be added this year looks to be delayed till 2015.

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer explained to IGN that, “As we come back into the new year, we’ll see new stuff, and screenshots is on the list.

“It’s a little more technically challenging than I thought. Two weeks ago, they think they’ve found a good solution for screenshots. They’re working on it. They know people want it. The team has a path to getting it done, and now it’s just prioritizing.”

When the feature arrives, it will presumably be about more than just capturing stills from the video in question. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know in the comments.
