Two key functions of Xbox Live on the Xbox One appear to be unavailable according to a new update from Microsoft. These are Purchase and Content Usage, which pertains to making purchases on the store, along with Social and Gaming, the crux of the service since it includes multiplayer gaming, viewing your friends’ stats and updating your own stats.

Though some NeoGAF members report the services being inaccessible for the past 16 hours or so, Microsoft has updated the Social and Gaming section, stating that, “If you’re having some issues joining the ‘Squad Assault’ game mode or viewing the leaderboards for Call of Duty: Ghosts, we’ve got your back. We’re hard at work with our partner on getting you back into the game as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience while we work! We’ll update you on our progress as soon as we can.”

UK Xbox Live members seemed to be having problems with the TV, Music and Video function but it is up and running according to Microsoft. Have you been facing similar issues? Let us know below.
