Dolby Atmos has been a rather interesting subject for the Xbox One X. While the Xbox One currently supports it with something like Netflix, Microsoft has been rather coy about confirming the same for Xbox One X. Mike Ybarra did talk about it in a recent interview with the Guardian, stating that, “If you provide Dolby Atmos spatial audio, high-dynamic range, 8-million pixels on the screen, people will lose track of time because they’ll be having so much fun. That immersion is really what we’re after.” Which honestly sounds to us like Dolby Atmos is included but regardless, you may want to double check the label before hopping on board.
