Octa-Core, 2.3 GHz CPU

Based off of AMD’s Ryzen CPU, the octa-core, 2.3 GHz processor in the Xbox One X is…kind of underwhelming. It’s a custom processor that runs 31 percent faster than the Xbox One and is definitely one of the more powerful CPUs in consoles today. However, it’s not that big of a leap forward, especially considering all the other components in the box. Whether it serves as a bottleneck remains to be seen though.
