Xbox One X Could See Stock Shortages At Launch

True 4K Gaming won't be easy to come by, it seems.

If you’re tired of your old, regular HD gaming with your Xbox One, and chomping at the bit for a shiny new Xbox One X to revitalize your gaming experience on November 7, according to Microsoft you wouldn’t be the only one.

Speaking to Dualshockers at Paris Games Week, Xbox Games Marketing General Manager Aaron Greenberg shares that preorders continue to be extremely strong and selling out quickly in many markets. In fact the console may be completely gone by the dawn of launch day, as the company expects demand to outstrip supply greatly.

Advising you preorder for the best shot at securing a system, Greenberg is happy with where Xbox is at the minute, and the response the audience has had to the games lineup and enhanced titles the console can offer. While they’re working hard to get as many systems as possible onto shelves, Greenberg suggests that your best bet is to check mass market retailers and be ready on launch day.
