Xbox One X Getting Bricked May Be Due To Faulty Power Cables

Or cable not being plugged in securely.

Xbox One X

The Xbox One X was only recently released but there have already been some cases where users have reported that the console got bricked after only a short while of use. This may be a major problem if it is widespread. However, the problem may lie with faulty power cables rather than with the hardware itself.

While the Xbox 360 had famously suffered from the “red ring of death”, this time around the problem may not be as fatal for the console. It is also hard to gauge exactly how widespread the problem is and whether it is a singular problem that is being experienced by all these users.

Users over at Reddit have posted some solutions to these problems such as changing the power cable or ensuring that the cable and power outlet itself isn’t faulty. Moreover, the problem may just be that the power cord isn’t plugged in securely. Either way, Microsoft will have to address the issue to find out these users are experiencing such problems
