Xbox Seemingly Teasing Something Cyberpunk 2077 Related

Break the code.

With everything going on right now and being stuck at home, it sure would be nice to have had Cyberpunk 2077 today, its original release date. Alas, alas, it was not to be as the game got pushed into September. Oh well, such is life. It does seem in the meantime Xbox has something to show us in relation to the game.

A mysterious teaser appeared on the official Xbox Twitter with a cryptic video and the simple message: break the code. While the Cyberpunk 2077 connection may not be obvious at first, it’s using a similar color scheme we’ve seen in 2077 trailers, as well as the same simulated static computer effect. To top it off, the main Xbox website had a strange hacked message earlier in the day (though it is gone now, you can see a screen capture below). Some have also slowed down the video to show the silhouette of what appears to be a Xbox One controller as well as maybe a Xbox One sitting vertically. Check it out below to judge for yourself.

There has been an early leak for a standalone controller based on the game, so it’s entirely possible there could be a limited edition console to go along with it. Cyberpunk 2077 is sure to be one of, if not the, biggest game of the year when it launches on September 17th, so a console bundle is pretty believable.
