FromSoftware have formed an unlikely friendship with Microsoft in recent years, with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice being unveiled at their E3 2018 press event, and Elden Ring the year after that. In light of that, there were many who were speculating that the open world RPG would finally be shown off at the Xbox Games Showcase in July, and plenty of “leaks” claimed that that would be the case. Alas, Elden Ring was nowhere to be seen, and we’re still left frothing at the mouth for concrete new details on the game.
