DELAYED TO 2021

xbox series x

We talked about something very familiar in our recent feature about PS5 rumours as well. Frankly, that the Xbox Series X and PS5 could be delayed was something that was quite easy to believe, and still doesn’t seem too far-fetched, given the state the world is in right now. There were quite a few reports some months back that suggested that due to manufacturing, production, and distribution issues arising because of the pandemic, the two console launches would be pushed back into next year. At this point, it seems like both Microsoft and Sony are committed to their Holiday 2020 launch window though – Microsoft have even narrowed that down to November, while leaks have indicated a November 6 launch date – so it seems like next-gen launches won’t be pushed back into 2021 after all.
