PS5 IS MORE POWERFUL
Microsoft and Sony have both revealed the full specs of their next-gen consoles by now, and there’s no doubting that they’re both incredibly impressive pieces of machinery. And while the PS5 has the edge over the Series X in several areas, most notably with its SSD, it’s hard to deny to in terms of pure raw power, the Xbox Series X has the upper hand. Last year, however, some reports were claiming that according to developers, the PS5 would end up being the more powerful console. It’s entirely possible that those statements were based on the console’s SSD, or just plain preference, which makes it hard to quantify exactly how accurate they were, but if we’re just looking at the raw numbers, they weren’t all that accurate.
