PARTIAL SPECS TO BE REVEALED AT E3 2019
Halfway through 2019, with next-gen console announcements drawing closer, many had started predicting that Sony and Microsoft would reveal at least some aspects of their new hardware soon. By the time E3 rolled around, Sony had already started talking up the PS5’s SSD, and many started speculating that Microsoft, too, would begin pulling back the curtain on the next Xbox’s specs, with reports suggesting that the console’s partial specs would be revealed at their E3 press event. Microsoft did tease what was then known as Project Scarlett, but information on the console’s specs wouldn’t come until a few months later.
