XCOM Battles “Enemy Unknown” in New Last Stand Trailer

2K Games has released a new short trailer for it’s upcoming XCOM: Enemy Unknown, developed by the makers of Civilization, Firaxis.

For all those skeptical about this re-imagining of the classic XCom: UFO Defense might still be fuming that their beloved strategy game has been reduced to a third person romp. Nonetheless, it looks interesting, and could prove to be an interesting experience.

And the strategy hasn’t been completely eliminated, with the “Geoscape” and “Ant Farm” modes that allow you to develop your resources accordingly.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is due this October for PC, XBox 360 and PS3.
