It is wild to think that a game that originally was never supposed to leave Japan has become a new franchise for Nintendo, and that an enhanced re-release of the that title is one of the Switch’s most anticipated games of 2020. Yet, here we are as we patiently wait for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition to launch later this month. And if you need a good overview trailer, Nintendo has you covered.

You can watch the trailer below simply titled “All about Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.” This will probably look familiar, as the Japanese version released earlier in the week, which you can see through here. This version is just in English, and has a very appropriate, regal sounding British (I assume, anyway) gentleman narrating that fits the voices of the characters. It breaks down the many characters, the combat, the plot and a little bit of a tease of the new story epilogue, “Future Connected.”

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will launch on May 29th for the Switch.
